These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...

Marie-Christine Livingstone was born on 21st of April 1943 in Glasgow, Scotland. Her father, Harry Hall Livingstone, was a paper merchant, and Marie-Christine was educated at Craigholme school in Glasgow. She began studying at the University of Glasgow in 1961 within the faculty of Arts. In her first year she studied French, German and History of Fine Arts. In 1962/1963 she took classes in French (higher), German (higher) and Moral Philosophy. In her final year she studied History of Art (higher...
